Information we collect

We collect information needed to create accounts, provide services, bill customers, maintain security, and respond to support requests. This can include account details, company details, billing contacts, service records, domain records, DNS details, invoices, quotes, transactions, plugin license records, tickets, attachments, messages, IP addresses, device/browser details, login records, audit logs, and security events.

  • Payment card details are handled through the payment processor's secure elements and are not intended to be stored directly by Cheap Clouding.
  • Domain orders may require registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contact details required by registries or registrars.
  • Support requests may include screenshots, logs, credentials shared for troubleshooting, site URLs, error messages, and other customer-provided details.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, provision and manage hosting, process orders and invoices, manage domains, provide WordPress and plugin services, respond to support, investigate abuse, detect fraud, maintain backups and security records, send service notices, improve the portal, and meet legal or provider obligations.

  • We may send transactional emails about orders, invoices, renewals, tickets, password resets, security events, incidents, and policy changes.
  • We may use aggregated operational data to understand platform health, product usage, support load, and service reliability.
  • We do not sell customer personal information.

Sharing and processors

We share information only when needed to operate the service, follow your instructions, comply with law, protect the platform, or work with approved service providers. These providers may include payment processors, domain registrars, email providers, infrastructure hosts, monitoring systems, backup systems, analytics/security tools, and support tooling.

  • Processors may only receive the information needed for their role and may be located in different regions.
  • We may disclose information to comply with legal process, registry or registrar requirements, payment disputes, security incidents, abuse investigations, or protection of rights and safety.
  • If ownership of Cheap Clouding changes, account and service records may transfer as part of the business transaction subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect account and service information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so customers must also protect credentials, administrator accounts, devices, email inboxes, and application software.

  • We retain records while your account is active and as needed for billing, tax, legal, security, backup, abuse, dispute, and operational purposes.
  • Deleted services may remain in backups, logs, invoices, audit history, or provider records for a limited retention period.
  • Sensitive troubleshooting credentials should be rotated after support work is complete.

Customer choices and rights

You may update account information in the portal or request help through support. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete certain personal information, subject to identity verification and legal or operational limits.

  • Some records cannot be deleted immediately because they are needed for invoices, taxes, fraud prevention, abuse handling, legal compliance, backups, or domain registry obligations.
  • Marketing preferences can be changed through unsubscribe tools where available, but transactional service notices may still be sent.
  • Privacy requests should be opened through support or sent to support@cheapclouding.com.
